Marissa Treece is the Director of Marketing and Design at Digital Firefly Marketing. This means, in her humble words, it’s her job to make things pretty. Those who work with Marissa know it’s much more than that. Marissa has a love of UI/UX design. She enjoys figuring out how to design a website based on consumer behavior. She stays on top of interaction trends as the internet grows and changes along.
Marissa’s philosophy on her work is brutally honest. “Being a designer is a pain in the ass because you always have a visual opinion. Every website you visit you find yourself noticing what you would have done differently.” When designing a website she thinks about how she can minimize or eliminate negative critiques from other designers. This self-reflection is what makes her work so stellar.
When asked what about DFM makes her proud Marissa said, “”I started at DFM when it was just a one-man show. I watched our team grow from two people working from their kitchen tables to a full-service agency. DFM is filled with incredibly talented experts, has been the most amazing professional experience.”
