Why is it a favorite stat?
The basic reason is to show how powerful blogs can be if you use the right keyword strategy. We don't sell dinner plates or silverware but we rank in the top 20 for "how to set a table" simply because we use the keyword people use when they use Google to search. Forming Blog titles in the form of a question makes it easier for Google to match up your page to someone who is actively searching for an answer.
By creating content via blogs, you can really start to drive traffic to your website. If you don't have time to blog, then hire someone to blog for you.
