How to Hide Bitstrips from Your Facebook Newsfeed

How to Block Bitstrips from Your Facebook NewsfeedThis week, society fell victim to the most annoying Facebook trend since Farmville. The trend is Bitstrips, which according to its website are, “Instant Comics and Cards starring YOU and your friends!” Unlike actual comic books, these awful wannabe comics are neither funny nor entertaining. The Bitstrips app was released last December, and has already been downloaded over 11 million times. The app has also generated a large backlash, leading many Facebook users to unfriend other users who regularly post Bitsrips, (and honestly, who could blame them?).

Luckily, there’s a solution which allows you to keep your Bitstrip-posting friends while hiding Bitstrips from your newsfeed.

  • Find a Bitstrip in your newsfeed.
  • Click the down-pointing, gray arrow.
  • Select “Hide all from Bitstrips”

Congratulations, your Facebook feed is free of Bitstrips.
