Moz Launches Moz Analytics beta

,Moz has just made life as a SEO Manager a lot easier. Over the last few weeks, Moz has begun allowing its clients to use the beta software for its new analytics. The new Moz Analytics beta is far more intuitive than anything the company has offered before, and allows users to view a plethora of inbound marketing data, all in one place. The change comes as part of Moz’s effort to rebrand itself from just SEO, to all inbound marketing.

Moz CEO, Rand Fishkin, stated, “For the past decade, we’ve fought to make SEO a legitimate, respected part of a web marketer’s arsenal. Today that battle is expanding to include content marketing, social media, community building, brand tracking, and other inbound channels. While SEO remains a key part of our product, it’s no longer transparent or authentic to say we’re purely an SEO software company.”

The new Moz Analytics offers social media data for Facebook, Twitter, and Google+. Here, you can view your social media reach without having to observe the analytics for each of these platforms individually. Moz still offers the same SEO data, so now you can get all of your daily analytics-checking done in one place. For a SEO Manager, this means a lot less clicking!

Some of the Tools

Unique to the tool is a “Brand & Mentions” tab. This tab shows you web pages in which your account was recently mentioned. If the web page doesn’t already link to your website you can use this as a guide for acquiring easy links.

Personally, I really love the integration of the keyword rank tool, and organic traffic data. Rather than viewing these metrics separately, Moz overlapped a keyword rank bar graph with an organic traffic data line graph. This handy new feature really gives a lot of context as to whether or not your SEO efforts are trending in the right direction.
