As a designer, I am a sucker for good packaging. Many times my husband and I have purchased products that we may normally not have if it wasn’t for the great packaging. In this world, first impressions make a difference, especially in this fast pace environment. People judge the quality of product based on its unique packaging. In an article I read online by webneel.com, they mention that, “effective packaging design breaks away from the standard rules and conventions that we are accustomed to, giving the product a unique edge to stand out from the rest.”

As designers, our job is to grab customers attention with our design skills and creative ideas. We can do this by using different methods such as illustration, photography, color, typography and even different packaging materials.
