Who is a Cyborg?

Well, if you are reading this article, the odds are you are a cyborg. You just don’t know it yet. It turns out that over the last three years, humanity has actually started to evolve into being cyborgs simply by carrying an iPhone in their pockets. What are cyborgs? A cyborg is an organism to which extragenous components have been added for the purpose of adapting to new environments. And according to Wikipedia, essentially a cyborg uses technology to enhance their abilities as a being with both biological and artificial parts.

So, are twenty year old kids with an iPhone cyborgs? You bet and just how connected are they? Quite. In order to illustrate this point, we put together an infographic that shows how we are using technology to enhance our ability to communicate and to store memories of our lives in a handy little gadget that live in our pockets.
